'Sup, Dudes!?

Welp, I guess Siobhán has a twin brother. Nice of her to wait nearly a year and a half to tell anybody! But, I guess, if you have a cute brother like that (instead of a dumb cousin, like I have), you wouldn't want all your friends knowing about him right away. Like, you'd want to know that they're friends with you, and not just trying to get in your brother's…boxers? (They're definitely a weird family, that's for sure!)

The one thing I really want to know here, though, is why Séamus has freckles all over his shoulders and arms and…mmm…aaaaabbbbsss…but Siobhán only has them on her cheeks (not those cheeks). What's the deal? Does Siobhán just not spend as much time outside? Is this because they're (obviously) fraternal twins, so their skin doesn't freckle in the exact same way? How does this work??? Also, how is it that we don't see any sort of areola or anything with those skinny little question mark pasties Siobhán's wearing? (Also, how lucky is Brian that he has a mom with whom he can brainstorm pastie ideas for his topless comic character?) All of these questions will probably have to go unanswered, because it's nice to not have everything directly spelled out for you, despite what modern television shows, movies, and even books and comics would often have you believe…Subtlety and subtext are great, and this comic is obviously always super subtle…

Now, please excuse me as I go dunk my head in cold water and try to think of something other than my friend's brother…
