Anna Log's Log

Greetings, Libby's Fans,

Although Libby's awareness of our fictionality is more extensive than my own, I assume you are wondering why Libby is not the one composing the "Scribb1e" for this week. Quite simply, it is because she is not. We sent her on a tour of a yarn-making factory. That way, she will not know about what we're up to.

That leads to the next point of order, which is: You are cordially invited to attend Libby's surprise birthday party next week, to celebrate the 1-year anniversary of Libby's existence on the internet as a weekly comic book. Although this is technically the 52nd comic—and thus the "full year" of comics—the anniversary is not until next week. As it is, the actual anniversary will be on a Thursday, so the extent to which we compromise precision should be mitigated as much as possible.

I am not really certain what else Libby says in these…She probably begs you to buy merchandise, because she is obsessed with money. You also probably don't ever buy anything, because it is not worth it to you. However, if you do wish to purchase merchandise, might I suggest this piece? It is the only design currently on the site in which I appear, and it has a rather witty bit of wordplay, if I do say so! Even so, it would not be appropriate attire for next week's party, so do remember to dress appropriately!

Sincerely yours,
Anna Log
