Brandy de Hex: Certified Sorceress currently comes out every 2 weeks on Wednesday. You can keep up by checking back here or by following me (Brian) on Instagram @bthingsart or by following Starry Knight Studios @starryknightstudios!
Hi Brandy Fans!
It's been almost two months since a new Brandy story was released…Yikes!
Granted, the reason why there's been this delay is a pretty exciting one. You see, the first 25 "issues" of Brandy de Hex: Certified Sorceress have now been collected as a print book! You can order a copy from Amazon now, or, you can wait a little while, as I try to get an online store set-up that isn't just through Threadless. (It's your choice.)
In addition to a print collection of Brandy de Hex, I also had a booth at Fort Collins Comic Con. It was a lot of fun, and I learned a lot, but since it was the first time tabling at a con, it took a lot more time to prepare for than I anticipated. Like I said, though, it was fun and I learned a lot!
But anyway, you probably don't really care about my reasons why I didn't make any new issues of Brandy for nearly two months. You just care that it's back now! Not only that, but for the next couple of months, I'll be doing some little "short stories," ranging from around two to four pages in length. I just sort-of feel like doing some briefer things for a bit before jumping into some longer, more complicated stories in a little bit. Plus, this gives an opportunity, like this "issue" (should I call these "episodes" instead?), to see what characters other than Brandy herself are up to.
As usual, thank you so much for reading this silly little comic. If you'd like to help support me, so that I can spend more time on Brandy, and other Starry Knight things, you can become a patron on my Patreon, or you can order a copy of the book version of Brandy, which includes some bonus features, as well as perhaps some slight differences from the version of the comic that you read online! Alternatively, you can just follow me on Instagram, where I post a lot of art, and you don't have to pay anything. Thanks again!
